What we are looking for:

Premier Property Maintenance is seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have an old-school work ethic and be multi skilled. They will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various vehicles and machinery with minimal supervision.

We are building a team of dependable, growth-minded professionals who take pride in their craft and want to be part of something bigger than themselves.

Duties:

• Maintain a fleet of light and medium duty trucks, trailers, snowplows, construction equipment, mowers, and other lawn and landscape related equipment.
• Perform and document routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery
• Diagnose mechanical issues and propose solutions
• Repair or replace faulty components
• Conduct thorough inspections of engines, transmissions, and other systems
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
• Keep detailed records files of all work performed
• Keep shop clean and organized.

Skills:

• Proven 5 years experience as a Mechanic
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and precision in work
• Ability to work extremely well with others

Preferred Skills:

• Certification from a vocational school or completion of an apprenticeship program
• Extensive previous experience working as a Mechanic
• Experience working with various vehicle makes and models
• Experience with small engines
• Experience with construction equipment and diesels.
