Summary:
In this contingent resource assignment, you may: Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Technology Business Systems Consulting. Review and analyze complex multi-faceted, larger scale or longer-term Technology Business Systems Consulting challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors including intangibles or unprecedented factors. Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables. Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.
Responsibilities:
• Lead complex, large-scale initiatives by driving discovery, requirements, and cross-functional alignment for enterprise-impacting capabilities and process transformations.
• Elicit, analyze, and document requirements (functional and non-functional), translating business objectives into clear epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Partner with engineering and architecture to evaluate solution options, define functional specifications, data mappings, integration needs, and operational considerations (monitoring, support model, resiliency).
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops (business, technology, operations, controls) to validate scope, resolve ambiguity, manage tradeoffs, and ensure shared understanding of outcomes.
• Drive backlog quality and readiness by ensuring stories are development-ready, dependencies are understood, and requirements are testable and traceable.
• Support testing and implementation through test strategy input, UAT planning/execution, defect triage, release validation, and go-live readiness coordination.
• Apply controls and risk discipline by incorporating compliance, privacy, auditability, data protection, and operational risk considerations into requirements and solution definitions.
• Use data and process analysis to identify inefficiencies, quantify impact, and recommend improvements (cycle time, error rates, automation potential, customer/employee experience).
• Enable change management and adoption by supporting training needs, communications, user documentation, and operational handoffs.
• Leverage GenAI thoughtfully (where appropriate) to accelerate requirements drafting, summarization of stakeholder inputs, and consistency checks—while ensuring outputs remain accurate, explainable, and policy-aligned.
Required Qualifications
• 5 years of Business Analysis / Systems Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
• 5 years of requirements and SDLC experience including discovery, requirements documentation, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and end-to-end traceability through testing and release.
• 3 years of experience partnering with engineering teams on system integrations, APIs, data flows, and platform modernization efforts.
• 3 years of experience with Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban), backlog refinement, and collaboration with product and technology stakeholders.
• 2 years of experience in testing support (UAT planning/execution, test scenario development, defect triage, release validation).
• 1 years of experience using GenAI-enabled tools (or equivalent automation/analysis tooling) to improve analysis productivity and backlog quality.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience working in COO / Operations or shared services environments is a plus (e.g., operations enablement, customer experience, resiliency, or regulatory initiatives).
• Familiarity with controls, risk, and compliance considerations in requirements and solution delivery.
• Exposure to process analysis and modeling (e.g., process flows, identifying inefficiencies, basic root cause analysis).
• Working knowledge of data concepts (data quality, reporting needs, basic data validation).
• General understanding of technology environments (e.g., APIs, integrations, cloud platforms) and how they impact requirements.
• Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery models with cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to automation or GenAI-assisted tools for analysis or documentation is a plus.
• Prior financial services experience is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
