Summary:
We are seeking a hands-on Pega Lead Developer with strong expertise in Pega Case Management and system integrations. This role combines technical leadership with active development responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will design and build high-quality Pega solutions while helping team members, enforcing best practices, and partnering closely with architects, product owners, and integration teams.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Delivery
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega applications, with a strong emphasis on case management and workflow orchestration
• Actively contribute to development (rules, flows, integrations, UI, decisioning) as a hands-on lead, not just oversight
• Translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable Pega designs
• Ensure solutions align with Pega Guardrails, performance standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines
Case Management Expertise
• Design and implement end-to-end case lifecycles, including stages, steps, SLAs, approvals, and escalations
• Leverage case types, subcases, spin-offs, and wait shapes effectively
• Optimize user experience for case workers using Pega UX (sections, views, dashboards)
System Integration
• Design and implement integrations using:
o REST and SOAP services
o Connectors and Services
o Pega Integration Patterns (Sync/Async, Queue Processors, etc.)
• Collaborate with downstream and upstream system teams to define interface contracts
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues
Mentorship & Team Enablement
• Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, hands-on guidance
• Set coding standards and reusable assets to improve team efficiency
Quality, Performance & Operations
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and defect resolution
• Support deployment activities and production troubleshooting when needed
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards
Qualifications:

Proven Pega platform experience, with significant hands-on development
Strong expertise in Pega Case Management
Proven experience with Pega system integrations (REST/SOAP, services, connectors)
Solid understanding of:
o Pega rules engine
o Flow rules, decision tables, data pages
o Performance tuning and troubleshootingExperience leading or mentoring development teams
Pega certifications such as CSSA and/or CLSA
Experience with Pega Infinity (latest versions preferred) (preferred)
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Pega
Knowledge of cloud
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
