Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all areas
- Sweeping, mopping, dusting
- Wiping down and sanitizing surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Clean, sanitize, and stock bathrooms
- Organize deck storage areas, tools, and materials
- Maintain outdoor grounds by removing unwanted debris
- Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
- Follow safety procedures and comply with policies
- Notify the Supervisor of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- Ability to manage your time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
- Works well with others
- Works well when supervisors are not present
- Able to work safely with a variety of cleaning supplies
- Able to use basic cleaning equipment
- Ability to follow schedules and keep commitments
- Ability to follow directions from Supervisor
- Proficient in computers is preferred
- Bi-lingual is preferred
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally
- Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently
- Use various hand tools or controls
- The noise level in the work environment is usually loud
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toe boots (must be laced and over the ankle), hard hat, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- Moderate to high risk of exposure to unusual elements
- Moderate to high risk of safety precautions
- Moderate to high exposure to production environment
- Wet, hot, humid, and wintry conditions (weather related) (plant specific)
- Ability to work outside year-round (plant specific)
