Wells Village School- 5th and 6th grade Long Term Substitute through the remainder of the 25-26 school year.
Classroom Teacher- Wells Village School is seeking a collaborative and enthusiastic 5-6 classroom teacher to join our school community.
The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes:
Knowledge of elementary research-based best practices including the Science of Reading
Knowledge of MTSS and layered instructional practices including data collection
Knowledge of small group instructional practice using layered instructional practices
Knowledge of effective literacy practices,
Knowledge of proficiency based grading practices.
Knowledge of the Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards with delineation between GRCSU priority and secondary standards Evidence of integrating technology into the learning environment beyond Supervisory Union agreed upon programming
Knowledge of best practices regarding student management protocols
Knowledge of formative and summative curricular assessments and use of data to inform instruction.
Knowledge of best practices to support student social emotional needs including regulation, restorative and proactive approaches.
Evidence of strong connection with students and families.
Strong communication skills as evidenced through a quality application.
Licensed or eligible for Vermont Educators License
