Summary:
This position is responsible for troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of equipment, setup and changeovers, and training of AMT and TNT technicians.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the assembly process from start to finish.
- Understand and monitor PLC and Robotic programs.
- Equipment troubleshooting and repair.
- Report production statistics such as finished goods, scrap, productivity, etc.
- Order supplies and equipment when needed, maintain spare parts inventory
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment.
- Ensure proper tooling and computer programs are applied to new product setups.
- Support production operators and Engineering to resolve production issues.
- Participate in process improvement activities.
- Other activities as assigned.
- Associates degree in Electromechanical Technology or Automated Manufacturing Systems; An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Ability to lead teams effectively - typically team of 2-5 members
- Ability to diagnose equipment failures and repair mechanical, pneumatic and electronics systems
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and able to consistently meet project deadlines
- Computer, telephone, hand tools, and production equipment.
- Safety glasses with attached side shields; ESD smock and grounding equipment
- Heat resistant and/or cut resistant gloves – based on workstation
- Disposal gloves/finger cots as required
