Schedule: Monday–Friday (Overnight travel required)About the RoleWe are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Environmental Technician to join our commercial mold remediation team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, travel, and professional growth. You will start with remediation and reconstruction tasks while receiving long-term training to become a State-Licensed Asbestos and Mold Inspector.What You’ll Do
- Remediation & Reconstruction: Build containment zones, remove impacted materials (drywall, etc.), apply chemical treatments, and rebuild sites to client standards.
- Logistics: Safely operate a company truck and trailer to transport equipment to job sites across five states.
- Assessment: Conduct damage inspections and execute restoration plans in compliance with safety regulations.
- Professional Development: Assist with mold and asbestos surveys under senior supervision. Once proficient, you will attend state-required licensing courses to perform independent store inspections.
- Lab Coordination: Once licensed, you will be responsible for collecting and shipping environmental samples via FedEx or UPS.
Requirements
- Dependability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are mandatory.
- Driving Skills: A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a truck and trailer are required.
- Travel: 100% travel across OH, MI, IN, KY, and WV.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand and power tools. Experience in drywall finishing is a major plus.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform cleaning, demolition, and restoration tasks in various commercial environments.
