Responsibilities
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, reliable deployments across development and production environments.
- Validate distributed workflows, asynchronous messaging, and service-to-service integrations across cloud-native systems.
- Build and enhance automation frameworks to support regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Validate role-based access, data privacy, and workflow orchestration for various user types (claims adjusters, account managers, external clients, supervisors).
- Test real-time data exchange, notifications, and document access for accuracy and security.
- Ensure HIPAA-compliant access controls, audit logging, and data privacy across all features.
- Collaborate with DevOps and product teams to validate infrastructure changes, deployment processes, and environment configurations.
- Design and execute tests validating tenant isolation, authorization boundaries, and secure cross-system data handling.
- Contribute to performance, load, and reliability testing for high-scale healthcare transaction processing systems.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–6 years of QA engineering experience, with a strong focus on test automation for web applications and APIs.
- Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, XUnit, NUnit, Pytest, or similar technologies.
- Strong experience testing cloud-native applications and distributed systems within AWS or similar cloud environments.
- Experience validating REST APIs, asynchronous integrations, webhooks, and event-driven workflows.
- Familiarity with API testing tools and patterns (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
- Understanding of authentication, authorization, and secure development practices
- Understanding of role-based access, data privacy, and compliance (HIPAA).
- Experience with healthcare platforms, claims processing, or regulated industries is a plus.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development.
- Eagerness to learn, collaborate, and grow in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
