What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Hand position at WellPro Inc?
JOB PURPOSE: Performs physical tasks in the shop in support of operations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean, inspect, repair, rebuild, operate, tests and troubleshoot equipment for oilfield use. Painting equipment, pressure washing, pressure testing, welding, and mechanical repairs.
- Monitor, evaluate and adjust processes or equipment to maximize quality and efficiency.
- Operate equipment and materials following standard operating procedures.
- Complete records and documentation
- Operate heavy machinery.
- General housekeeping and ground maintenance
- Additional duties include being on an on-call rotation and possible field service calls (additional compensation for field service calls.)
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
- Must possess current valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
- Lifting/pushing objects weighing over: > 50 lbs: Frequently
- Climbing and working in awkward and cramped positions: Occasionally
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces
- Exposure to inclement weather, bright lights, loud noise, dust, gas, and/or fumes
