Position Overview:
We are seeking a Part-Time Functional Medicine Doctor (DC) with training and experience in clinical nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and functional diagnostics. You will work closely with patients to uncover the root causes of chronic conditions such as fatigue, autoimmune issues, hormone imbalance, digestive dysfunction, metabolic resistance, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth patient consultations focused on lifestyle, health history, and functional imbalances
- Order and interpret advanced lab testing (GI, hormone, micronutrient, toxin, etc.)
- Create customized treatment plans using nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle strategies
- Provide education on functional medicine principles and preventative care
- Collaborate with other providers on complex case management
- Document patient progress and maintain regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree with valid state licensure
- Formal training or certification in functional medicine (e.g., IFM, FMU, Kalish, etc.)
- Strong clinical knowledge of nutritional biochemistry, endocrinology, and gut health
- Excellent communication and case presentation skills
- Passion for functional, whole-body healing and root-cause medicine
