Position: The Director of Intake - MH-DD will assume the following responsibilities:
Essential Accountabilities
- Maintain and Improve census for MH Housing, DD Housing, DayHab and Respite.
- Maintain all pertinent external reporting systems, including CAIRS, CAPS, CHOICES, LOS, TADS, and any other as applicable.
- Supervise MH Intake and DD Intake staff.
- Provide oversight for more complex cases and refer for clinical review with AVP as needed.
- Develop ongoing relationships with OMH, OPWDD and service providers.
- Arrange and make presentations about WellLife Network housing and DayHab services as needed to help generate interest in our facilities.
- Identify current population trends to ensure all services are being requested and set up prior to entry into the agency.
- Attend all management-related meetings and functions as warranted.
- Work collaboratively with external service providers, housing and dayhab staff to ensure each client is placed in the right facility to suit their needs.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and Annual reports as needed.
- Ensure smooth day to day operation of Intake.
- Develop policies and procedures for Intake and revise as warranted.
- Expanding Outreach efforts for both MH and DD.
- Onboarding new housing contracts and ensuring beds are filled by the required deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Work locations and schedules are subject to change.
- Any additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications
- 7 years of experience working in Mental Health, DD, or related field, of which 4 are in a supervisory role.
- Experience working in Intake required.
- Experience onboarding new programs required.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Knowledge of CAIRS, CHOICES, and data management systems required.
