What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitorial Technician position at Wellington?
Description
We are looking for a janitor to take care of our client's facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties. The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. The ideal candidate must have be able to work independently, have previous commercial cleaning experience, with an eye for detail and be able to communicate effectively with our clients.
- Clean/disinfect, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning AC vents, baseboards, restroom cleaning, etc.,)
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repair
- Stock and maintain supply rooms
- Ideal applicant must have an eye for detail in making sure all areas are cleaned as required
- Must be able to work independently and follow instruction
- Follow health and safety regulations
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Work with minimal supervision
Requirements
- Previous custodial experience
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
