Wellhaven Home Care CHS is seeking a dedicated and caring Weekend Caregiver to join our team in Charleston, SC. As a Weekend Caregiver, you will provide exceptional in-home care to our clients, promoting their independence and well-being. Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one care to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist clients with meal preparation, medication management, and light housekeeping tasks
Encourage and support clients in their independence, promoting their physical and emotional well-being
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, and caregivers
Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions
Maintain accurate records of client care and services provided
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent required
1 years of experience in healthcare or related field (training provided)
Ability to work weekends, with flexible scheduling available
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills
Ability to lift 25 pounds and to stand and sit for periods of time
