Job Purpose
Welldoc is looking for a qualified intern to join our clinical team. This student intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and will finish the internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of a product team in the digital health industry. This internship is available immediately for approximately 15-20 hours/week and will last between four and six months depending on projects and schedules.
Responsibilities
- Assist the clinical and product teams with testing content (English and Spanish) in the application build.
- Contribute to content development and refinement (English and Spanish).
- Accurately input data within the content management system.
- Learn the basics of product development and collaborate with various team members while contributing to current projects using online tools (e.g. Google, Microsoft).
- Participate in daily meetings with internal staff (that are in-person and virtual).
Required Skills & Experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) with fluency in reading and writing.
- Basic Microsoft Office and Google (Google Sheets, Google Docs) skill set.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.
Welldoc operates in ISO 13485 and MDSAP regulated and HITRUST and SOC 2 Type II compliant environments. Therefore, it is expected that all employees will have either, prior experience working in those environments or, will be trained to understand the requirements needed to work and support those requirements and culture as they relate to individual roles and responsibilities.
Required Education
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master’s program. Preferred areas of study include nutrition, health science, nursing, community health, or public health.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated salary range for this position is between $20-25/hour with the expectation that most candidates will fall around the midpoint of the range. Exceptional candidates may exceed the range if education and experience warrant.
Upon receipt of a conditional offer of employment, you may be required to complete and clear a multi-panel drug screening process. This screening is in connection with requirements set by certain of the Company’s customers, with which you may be working in this role, and will at all times be administered all applicable laws.
