You’ll be supporting a caseload of 15 students, collaborating with school teams to promote emotional expression and resilience through therapeutic art interventions. With varied sites throughout the district, every day brings new opportunities for growth and positive influence.
Key Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Art Therapist through the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors and Therapists
- Demonstrated experience supporting school-age children in an educational or mental health setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comprehensive understanding of art therapy principles and best practices
- Ability to adapt to different school environments and student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group art therapy sessions on site at various school locations
