What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift- Maintenance Technician position at Wellborn Forest?
- Perform Repairs and preventative maintenance to resolve and prevent operating issues and maximize efficiency.
- Use technical knowledge, equipment documentation, safety procedures and maintenance schedules to follow, improve and develop preventative and routine maintenance programs.
- Responsible to ensure accuracy of their own work and monitor the quality of the previous operation.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition.
- Responsible for workplace safety and adhere to all plant safety rules.
- Follow all prescribed work standards as written.
- Ability to work overtime as need and required.
- Maintain production and quality standards.
- Build/ weld material used for production needs.
- Replace /Repair equipment and tools.
Must understand and follow waste management requirements for handling of hazardous, nonhazardous, universal, and other waste.
All other assigned duties.
- Monday-Thursday with Friday TBD
Experience :
-At least 2 yr. validated experience.
-Forklift / Scissor lift a plus.
-Electrical a plus.
