Summary: We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to build the future of the Well platform while collaborating with our engineering, data science, clinical, and marketing partners. In this role, you will own multiple product areas across the Well platform, with a particular focus on leveraging generative AI and large language models to transform how we engage members and deliver health outcomes. You will envision and grow product strategy, analyze and understand trends in the industry, and build new technology and features for our members across their health engagement and behavior change journey. You are able to jump into the details of day-to-day execution while taking a step back to evaluate the long-term strategies and goals for your product area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a domain expert and product lead in one or more relevant product areas and drive products through their end-to-end lifecycle, from requirements gathering to scoping, roadmap planning, execution, delivery, continuous improvement, and growth.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to apply generative AI, large language models, and other emerging technologies to Well's platform, translating cutting-edge capabilities into practical product features that improve member engagement and health outcomes.
  • Act as a liaison for multiple cross-functional stakeholder teams, including UX, Engineering, Data Science, Clinical, Business Development, and Marketing.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Data Science for product prioritization as part of sprint planning, with an emphasis on data-driven decision-making and experimentation.
  • Synthesize user research, customer feedback, quantitative analysis, and market trends into long-term product roadmaps and priorities.
  • Use data, analytics, and AI/ML insights to define success metrics, build business cases, and measure product impact.
  • Take personal responsibility for keeping all Well systems and data, including sensitive member data, secure and safe, according to Well data and security policies and HIPAA guidelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business administration, data science, information science, or related field.
  • 3 years in product management, engineering, or related industry experience.
  • Experience defining software projects, collecting requirements, designing process solutions, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule, and deploy solutions.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in SQL and analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Amplitude). Demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to develop business cases and inform product decisions.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including large language models (LLMs) and generative AI. Ability to understand model capabilities, evaluate AI-powered product features, and collaborate effectively with data science and ML engineering teams.
  • Experience in healthcare, health tech, or digital health products.
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML product development, prompt engineering, or building applications that integrate LLM capabilities.
  • Experience with experimentation frameworks (A/B testing, feature flagging) and data pipelines.
  • Background in behavioral science, behavior change, or member engagement strategies.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards.
