Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Starting Pay: $14.16 per hour

Well-Spring, a Life Plan Community, is looking for dependable and hardworking Kitchen Assistants / Dishwashers to join our Dining Services team. This role is essential in supporting daily kitchen operations and helping deliver an exceptional dining experience for our residents.

Position Summary

As a Kitchen Assistant / Dishwasher, you will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen environment. This position contributes directly to resident satisfaction through teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent service.

Schedule

We are currently hiring for both full-time and part-time positions.

Our full-time position is primarily morning shifts beginning at 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday, with some weekends as needed.

Our part-time position is primarily evening shifts from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with occasional morning shifts based on department needs. Part-time team members must be available to work at least three shifts per week.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include washing, sanitizing, and properly storing dishes, utensils, cookware, and food service equipment; maintaining clean and organized dishwashing and kitchen areas; assisting with food preparation and meal setup; stocking and rotating inventory using the first-in, first-out (FIFO) method; transporting food carts, supplies, and equipment as needed; completing daily cleaning tasks while following food safety and sanitation standards; communicating effectively with team members; and supporting a positive dining experience for our residents.

The ideal candidate has completed at least the 10th grade, can understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English, works well as part of a team, and has a dependable work ethic.
