Environmental Services Housekeeping Assistant (full-time)
7:30a-4:00p, Monday-Friday

The Village at Brookwood is located in Burlington, North Carolina, The Village at Brookwood offers a full continuum of care services for older adults, including independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care.
The Environmental Services Assistant performs the following functions on a regular basis:
Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, kick plates, push plates, switch plates and heating/cooling units; clean, wash, sanitize and/or polish bathroom fixtures, assuring that water marks are removed from fixtures.
Clean floors/corners/baseboards by sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, etc; clean carpets by vacuuming, deodorizing and disinfecting. Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing.
Clean hallways, stairways and elevators/elevator tracks.
Discard trash and recyclable materials into proper containers and reline trash receptacles with plastic liners. Clean occupied and vacant rooms as assigned.
Perform other related duties as directed by Supervisor.
The successful candidate will have the ability to read, write, speak and understand English, and the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions and take action on coaching and feedback. Previous experience in environmental services / housekeeping is preferred.
