About Our Engineering Administrator
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Administrator to support our engineering team. Someone who is highly organized, has a keen eye for accuracy, and has stellar communication and prioritization skills. The Engineering Administrator will play a critical role in maintaining data and coordinating cross-functional workflows to ensure accurate and timely release of engineering information to both internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Complete engineering related documentation including industry certifications, factory acceptance test plans, and inspection test reports with precision; keep track of deadlines and renewals
- Maintain digital and physical documentation organization, support engineering with administrative tasks
- Utilize ERP system to assist managing bills of materials (BOMs), routing instructions, released drawings, and engineering work order updates
- Communicate workflow schedule and updates to stakeholders within the organization

- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with SolidWorks drafting software and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to quickly adapt to new programs, including the Welker ERP system to handle the clerical aspects of the position
- Work Ethic: Excellent organizational and follow-through skills with a highly developed sense of urgency and prioritization; ability to handle multiple complex tasks within tight deadline parameters
- Attention to Detail: Make a conscious effort to focus on the details and ensure documents are complete, accurate, and thorough

Qualifications
- Associate degree in an Engineering or Business related field, or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of experience with document control and revision management processes
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
