Reports to: Department Supervisor

Purpose. The Direct Fulfillment Clerk fills orders and produces materials in accordance with customer specifications and established guidelines for quality, accuracy and speed set forth by WW&L.

THE SKILLS:

• Knowledge of software, programs, printing techniques and company guidelines.
• Familiarity with printing operations and WW&L guidelines and procedures.
• Basic computer skills.
• The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• The ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

General Duties:

• Scan, label, and fold printed product to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Insert tickets, pamphlets and other materials as required for direct mailing.
• Pulling items from proper locations and prepare for shipment.
• Load and unload material onto or from pallets, racks, and shelves by hand or manual pallet jack tool.
• Read and understand instruction and specification sheets.
• Reroll, hand fold, weigh, stock and ship items as needed.
• Identify areas to reduce spoiled work and increase productivity.
• Ensure all safety procedures are observed and followed.
• Maintain record of work time spent on jobs.
• Proficient at multi-tasking, able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess great organizational skills.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by order fulfillment Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean work area.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able, without assistance, to repeatedly lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maintain a high level of frequency in other physical activities such as reaching, standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, kneeling and crouching.

Job Requirements:

• Overtime will be expected in peak production periods; must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed.

• Attendance is essential in this position; must be reliable, dependable and punctual.

Minimum Qualifications:

Similar work experience preferred.

Work Environment:

This is an onsite working position in an office/factory. The noise level is usually moderate. Building restrictions may be limited to non-safety sensitive workers.
