Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team Immediately for temporary help. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of settings, including commercial, industrial, and renovation projects. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete wiring tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Test electrical systems using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems in industrial settings to optimize automation processes.
- Ensure all work meets safety regulations for high voltage and low voltage systems while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with construction teams, frame carpenters, and other tradespeople to coordinate project timelines and ensure seamless execution of electrical work.
- Read blueprints and schematics meticulously to plan wiring layouts for new installations or renovations.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and upgrades for ongoing maintenance documentation.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols on construction sites or industrial facilities to prevent accidents or hazards.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments with a strong understanding of NEC standards.
- Hands-on experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and control systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical systems.
- Familiarity with high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems is essential.
- Skilled in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Knowledge of NEC regulations related to electrical installations for safety compliance.
