Role Description The Electrician at Global Seamless will perform day-to-day electrical work related to plant equipment, production lines, and facility infrastructure. Responsibilities include installing, inspecting, and maintaining electrical systems, performing preventive maintenance, and repairing electrical faults to minimize downtime. The role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting continuous operation of manufacturing machinery, and ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards. The Electrician will collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to implement improvements and document work performed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mansfield, LA.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of electricity and electrical work, including safe handling of electrical components and systems.
- Experience in maintenance & repair of industrial electrical equipment and plant infrastructure.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues, diagnosing faults, and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Background or training in electrical engineering principles relevant to industrial and manufacturing environments.
- Relevant technical certification or license as an Electrician; vocational or trade school education in electrical disciplines is preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial safety standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with local electrical codes.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to work on-site in Mansfield, LA, and to support shift-based or overtime work as production needs require.
