The Investment Analyst will play a significant role in providing financial analysis, investment underwriting, portfolio management and valuation support to the Investment and Asset Management team. The ideal candidate is pro-active and will provide actionable, analytical, and insightful support to management in understanding the financial impacts, risks, and benefits of business decisions. The breadth of responsibilities will cover the existing Welbec portfolio as well as potential acquisitions, developments/re-developments, commercial leasing, financings, and other projects.

What You Bring
Quantitative Analysis
· Developing complex financial models in Excel to support to the Investments and Asset Management teams
· Preparing annual re-forecasts of existing investments and maintaining monthly portfolio management functions
Market and Property Research
· Compiling and summarizing market research reports and data
· Assembling and evaluating sales and rent comparable surveys
· Analyzing property operations
Presentation and Document Writing
· Assisting with the preparation of investment memoranda and commercial leases
· Preparing and reviewing of transactional documents
· Supporting with the creation of Quarterly and Annual presentations
Qualifications
· Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution
· 0-3 years' experience in an investment / financial role in real estate
· Strong financial modelling skills and business writing skills
· Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, Word
· Must be detail-oriented, with a strong focus on diligence and attentiveness
· An interest in developing a career within real estate or investments
