- Partner with project teams and PSN to continuously improve the performance and reliability of steel supply chain
- Support project teams to maintain costs within project budget and schedule
- Work directly with project teams to establish a short list of PSN members to quote the work on the project and select the best partners for the specific project
- Develop and mentor team members
- Ensure products are high quality and provide excellent customer service
- Conduct monthly project status meetings
- Oversee Project Managers, Estimators and Supply Chain Analysts
- Review project estimates prior to submission
- Ensure all safety protocols are met on site
- Experience:
- 10 years of experience in supply chain management, sourcing, procurement, or purchasing
- Experience with steel from a supply chain perspective is highly preferred
- Knowledge of and/or exposure to quality assurance is desired
- Skills:
- Analytical, strategic, and strong problem-solving skills
- Skilled at building relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Flexibility to balance competing needs with tight timeframes
- High level of initiative
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
