Summary
The Shop Hand supports in all areas of each applicable job when necessary. The Shop Hand is responsible for keeping inventory of all incoming and outgoing jobs and ensuring all jobs are completed safely and properly.
All employees of Weisinger Incorporated must agree to perform work out of town or at night, on the weekends and on holidays with short notice and for an extended period as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The following list includes essential duties and responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned. Perform all activities in accordance with all policies, principles, and procedures established by Department, Division and Weisinger Inc. Management and Board of Directors.

- Ensure all jobs are properly tagged.
- Assembly / disassembly of pumps of all configurations.
- Clean and straighten line shafts.
- Assembly of oil tube sections.
- Maintain the pipe yard to include housekeeping and proper shoring of pipe.
- Track all consumable inventory.
- Works with hand tools routinely.
- Perform other duties as assigned, which may include working in another role or in another department as needed.

Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent or applicable experience
- One to two years related experience and/or training (preferred)
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid Texas Driver’s License
- Forklift Certification (company will provide training and certification)
Language Skills
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Bilingual (preferred)
Mathematical Skills
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Reasoning Ability
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Computer Skills
Basic personal computer skills.
