A Day in This RolePicture your morning: you check your route on a company-provided tablet, load up your well-stocked service vehicle, and head to local customer sites. A distribution center needs a safety inspection on an electric forklift. An hour later, you’re troubleshooting a hydraulic leak on an LP unit. In the afternoon, you run diagnostics on a diesel truck’s starting issue and log your work in our work order system before heading home.
What You’ll Tackle- Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and other material handling equipment across gas, diesel, LP, and electric powertrains at customer locations
- Perform preventative maintenance and detailed safety inspections to keep fleets compliant and dependable
- Document findings, parts, and labor accurately in a computerized work order platform (ServiceMax experience is a plus, similar systems welcome)
- Care for your service truck, tools, and on-hand parts inventory to stay job-ready
- Represent LiftOne with professionalism, clear communication, and a customer-first mindset
- 2 years in material handling service or related backgrounds such as automotive, diesel, military, or heavy equipment mechanics
- Proven troubleshooting across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Comfort working independently in the field with local travel to customer sites
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Positive attitude, great communication, and pride in quality workmanship
- Safety champion: you lead with a safety-first approach, following all company and customer protocols to protect yourself, teammates, and equipment
