A day in this role
Your morning begins by scanning Business Intelligence & SAP dashboards to spot rental opportunities and monitor contract health. You follow up with transportation coordinators to confirm deliveries and pickups, and you connect with customers returning assets to uncover the next need. Midday, you craft accurate SAP rental contracts, issue POs, and partner with Collections on A/R to maintain target DSO. In the afternoon, you cold-call prospects, re-engage dormant accounts, and align quotes to pricing matrices—closing business while enforcing discount rules. Before you wrap, you file delivery/pickup documentation within 24 hours, update master records, and ensure billing (initial, periodic, and final) is queued and correct.

What You Bring Education & Experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Eagerness to learn and use Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceMax.

What you’ll own Serve existing accounts
- Learn fleet equipment using training materials provided by the Rental Manager.
- Proactively create interest with customers when assets are coming off-rent or being returned.
- Cold-call prospective rental customers and re-activate dormant ones.
- Drive revenue through sound, strategic decision-making.
- Apply pricing matrices and enforce discounting rules.
- Respond to internal and customer inquiries about rental equipment.
- Assist the Collections team with accounts receivable to maintain target DSO.
- Issue purchase orders and provide oversight to accounts payable.
- Facilitate all facets of the HYG fleet program.
- Create complete and accurate SAP rental contracts.
- Coordinate equipment deliveries and pickups with site transportation coordinators.
- Ensure delivery/pickup documentation is received, processed, and filed within 24 hours.
- Leverage Business Intelligence & SAP reports to drive rental metrics.
- Review and process initial, periodic, and final billing on contracts.
- Maintain paperwork to audit-ready standards; keep files current and organized.
- Update and manage rental equipment master file records.
- Collaborate with customers and internal teams to meet needs.
- Overtime/check in/check out, OT, damage recovery.

What You Bring Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; or 2 years of sales experience/training.
- Background in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
- Proven inside sales success with a history of exceeding quota.
- Strong phone presence with experience making dozens of calls daily.
- Exceptional verbal/written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Time management mastery—multitask, prioritize, and execute effectively.
- Ability to communicate the “Value Added” concept to stakeholders at all levels.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
