Overview
Weirton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Program Coordinator with people friendly skills and strong organizational/communication skills to oversee and enhance our program initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and evaluate program initiatives to meet organizational goals.
- Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely completion of objectives and adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate on marketing strategies to increase program visibility and participation.
- Manage social media platforms to enhance outreach and engagement with the community.
- Assist in recruiting new volunteers and participants for various programs.
Skills
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following skills:
- Experience in social media management to leverage online platforms for outreach efforts.
- Experience that ensures efficient operation of program functions.
- Ideally be proficient in MS Office, MS Publisher, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Canva.
Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
