IT Technician

This position is held accountable for Wowing our guests with a positive experience by installing and maintaining computer systems and networks aiming for the highest functionality. You will also “train” users of the systems to make appropriate and safe usage of the IT infrastructure.

2. Ticket System Management:
• Review, respond to, and resolve tickets within the designated ticket system in a timely and efficient manner.
• Prioritize tickets based on urgency and impact, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly.
• Document all troubleshooting steps, solutions, and communication within the ticket system for accurate
record-keeping and knowledge sharing.
• Escalate complex or unresolved issues to higher-level support or management as needed.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with end-users throughout the ticket resolution process.
3. Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.)
4. Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.) to ensure functionality
5. Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications
6. Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance
7. Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems
8. Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
9. Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work
10. Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.)
11. Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule
12. Identify computer or network equipment shortages
13. Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
14. Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures

Employment Standards:
• High School Diploma, Experience in related field
• Proven experience as an IT Technician or relevant position
• Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication ability
• Outstanding organizational and time-management skills
• In depth understanding of diverse computer systems and networks
• Good knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles
• Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to stay focused; professional phone etiquette.
• This is a full-time position with a varied schedule
