Role Description This full-time Real Estate Agent role is a hybrid position based in Charleston, SC, with some flexibility to work from home. The agent will prospect and engage new clients, conduct property showings, and guide buyers and sellers through every stage of the transaction, including listing, pricing, negotiation, and closing. Daily responsibilities include maintaining current knowledge of local market trends, preparing comparative market analyses, drafting contracts and related documents, and ensuring compliance with state and brokerage policies. The role also involves delivering attentive customer service, coordinating with lenders, inspectors, attorneys, and other professionals, and using brokerage tools and technology to manage leads, listings, and client communications. Agents are expected to participate in team meetings, training, and community networking activities to build relationships and grow their business.
Qualifications
- Active South Carolina Real Estate License or clear path to obtaining one, with a strong understanding of real property concepts.
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a client-first mindset and ability to build long-term relationships.
- Experience or strong interest in real estate transactions, including residential sales and local market familiarity.
- Sales skills, including lead generation, consultative selling, negotiation, and closing techniques.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, plus comfort using digital tools, MLS systems, and CRM platforms.
- Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and handle multiple clients and transactions simultaneously.
- Reliable transportation for property showings and in-person appointments in the Charleston Trident Area.
- Previous experience in real estate, sales, or a related field is beneficial; relevant training or education in business, marketing, or finance is a plus.
