What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tax Controversy Associate position at Wegman Partners?
I work closely with a Band 1 Chambers Ranked Tax Practice looking to add a junior Tax Controversy associate to its busy practice.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-3 years of tax controversy experience from a firm or the government
- An interest in resolving tax disputes and working on matters that require trial
- Excellent academic credentials (JD, an LLM in Tax and CPAs are bonus)
This practice is broad, covering all aspects of dispute resolution (litigation and administrative), tax policy, transfer pricing, wealth management tax advice, and tax planning and transactions. This is an opportunity to join a busy, robust team that offers significant substantive opportunity and mentorship, with excellent runway for advancement in a group that is very well-positioned within the firm.
