Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal
Location: Houston, TX (In-Office)
Our boutique Houston law firm client is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant/Paralegal with minimum 1–2 years of litigation experience to support attorneys in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct administrative and litigation support to two partners
- Draft, revise, and file pleadings and discovery
- Manage deadlines and maintain case calendars
- Assist with trial preparation and hearings
- Coordinate filings with local, state, and federal courts
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of litigation legal assistant and/or paralegal experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Familiarity with court filing procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Compensation:
- $55–$75k, depending on experience
