Job Title: Casualty & Mass Tort Litigation Associate (Partnership Track)

Overview:
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Casualty & Mass Tort Litigation Associate to join its Baton Rouge office. This is a partnership-track opportunity offering hands-on litigation experience and direct client engagement in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a litigation caseload from inception through resolution
- Take and defend depositions
- Draft and argue motions
- Handle written discovery and responses
- Participate in rapid response investigations and case reporting
- Prepare cases for trial, including strategy development and execution
- Communicate directly with clients and provide regular, substantive updates
- Appear in court and lead litigation efforts as appropriate
Qualifications:
- 5 years of general litigation experience
- Strong experience with depositions, motion practice, and discovery
- Proven ability to independently manage cases from start to finish
- Excellent academic credentials
- Exceptional research, writing, and advocacy skills
- Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
- Licensed and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar
