What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Coordinator position at Weekley Electric, LLC?
We are looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team! As a project coordinator for Weekley Electric LLC, you will serve as the liaison between our customers, field employees and office staff.
To be successful in this role you should be a highly detail-oriented individual with good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, candidates should have the ability to organize and prioritize workloads and work independently when given instruction.
This is a full-time position with working hours of 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday.
Primary Job Duties:
- Set up and maintain customers, suppliers/vendors, and jobs as required.
- Schedule and confirm customer appointments by phone and email.
- Create/modify work orders and assign to field employees.
- Review documents for accuracy and process in a timely manner.
- Assist with the completion and submission of permit applications to various municipalities.
- Assist with the coordination of temporary disconnect orders with local utility providers.
- Assist with the coordination and scheduling of inspections with various municipalities.
- Collect, update, and communicate information across all data sources and team(s).
- Ensure timely billing of customers as required for all assigned jobs.
- Perform service renewal and/or sales calls as directed.
- Follow up with customers to ensure high level of satisfaction is achieved.
- Provide administrative support for managers and others.
- Interact with managers and others within and between departments, both written and verbal.
- Assist managers with any special projects.

- General knowledge of Permitting (permit application process, determine property lines/boundaries, lookup parcel and/or identifying information, calculating footages, etc.)
- General knowledge of Utilities (submitting OUPS tickets, obtaining temporary disconnects, etc.)
Requirements:
- High School Diploma and/or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Adobe or equivalent PDF Viewer/Editor
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
Preferred Requirements:
- College degree or some college, preferred.
- 3 years of solid administrative/coordination experience preferred.
- Previous experience in the electrical, construction and/or utilities industries a definite plus!
