Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the main contact for new hires during onboarding, addressing questions and guiding them through processes
- Manage all candidates in the pre-hire stage and coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities, including pre-boarding, first-day logistics, and orientation programs
- Select and coordinate appropriate background check and drug test packages based on job codes and locations
- Review results of background checks and drug tests, providing clearance updates as required
- Schedule start dates and assign relevant onboarding events in learning management systems
- Update candidate profiles in HRIS systems, ensuring they are marked "Ready for Hire."
- Send day-one instructions to candidates, hiring managers, and recruiters regarding reporting, badging, I-9 completion, and orientation schedules
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Advisors, hiring managers, and business units to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Maintain accurate onboarding records, checklists, trackers, and reports in HR systems
- Support regional or global onboarding programs and initiatives as needed
- 3-6 years of experience in candidate onboarding, preferably with international onboarding exposure (US onboarding experience is a plus)
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or BambooHR
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple onboarding tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with new hires, recruiters, and hiring managers
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proactive problem-solving skills to anticipate and address onboarding challenges
- Capable of maintaining structured processes while adapting to different business unit needs and global onboarding requirements
