Lead Infant Teacher

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities

• Design and execute developmentally appropriate curriculum tailored to infants’ individual needs and milestones, incorporating child development instruction principles.
• Supervise and actively engage with infants during play, feeding, nap times, and daily routines to ensure safety and promote positive interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, including pediatric first aid standards.
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns in a warm and professional manner.
• Lead classroom management efforts by implementing behavior management strategies that support positive social-emotional development.
• Ensure adherence to mandated reporting laws by accurately documenting incidents or concerns related to child welfare.
• Mentor and support assistant teachers or caregivers in delivering high-quality care while fostering teamwork and professional growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or early childhood education settings
• Strong knowledge of childhood development, infant care techniques, and classroom management strategies.
• Valid certifications in first aid, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), pediatric first aid, and child safety protocols.
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
• Ability to follow all licensing regulations related to daycare center operations and mandated reporting laws.
• Demonstrated caregiving skills with a focus on nurturing behavior management and developmental support for young children.
