What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pediatric Occupational Therapist - SWC certification preferred position at Wee Thrive Pediatric Therapy Group?
Wee Thrive Pediatric Therapy Group is expanding and seeking a seasoned Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our growing team.
Our ideal candidate has a minimum of three (1) years of pediatric experience and is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to children and their families.
Due to a strong and consistent referral stream from neighboring pediatrician groups and RCOC case managers, we have a pending caseload ready to become available.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):
- Perform screenings, evaluations, data interpretation, intervention planning, implementation, review, and treatment for children with occupational therapy needs
- Maintain accountability for the safety and effectiveness of occupational therapy service delivery, including determining the need to continue, modify, or discontinue services
- Conduct collaborative assessments to identify occupational therapy needs and inform instructional and intervention planning
- Provide age-appropriate, evidence-based interventions tailored to each child’s developmental and learning profile
- Engage children and families in goal development, treatment implementation, shared decision-making, and progress monitoring
- Supervise and mentor newly hired OTs, COTAs, and other paraprofessionals as appropriate
- Collect and interpret data to support individual treatment planning and overall program development
- Collaborate effectively with families and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Contribute professionally within a team-based environment, respecting and integrating diverse professional perspectives
- Provide leadership to ensure the mission and core values of Wee Thrive Pediatric Therapy Group are consistently upheld
- Assist in the development of forms, systems, and tools to enhance efficiency within the Occupational Therapy Department
- Respond to inquiries from clients, parents, staff, paraprofessionals, and insurance representatives
- Support the overall health and strategic growth of the organization through clear, direct, and respectful communication
- Advise Owners/Directors on labor-related matters including safety, employee relations, scheduling, training, grievances, and policy compliance
- Perform additional work-related duties as assigned
