What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at WEE CARE PRESCHOOL?
Resurrection Lutheran Ministries in Brentwood, CA is in search of an Administrative Assistant. This position is part-time, approximately 15 hours per week. Schedule TBD, but mostly weekday mornings, with some afternoon work possible. (This is an onsite position.) We are looking for someone that demonstrates attention to detail, has the ability to multi-task, has some experience with IT, a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), has basic bookkeeping practices, and is a team player who exhibits a welcoming personality.
Reports:
· Monthly and yearly reports for Board of Directors, CNH District, LCMS, and LCEF.
Office Support:
· Oversees server, copy machine, internet connection, and various computer programs.
· Maintains and orders office and worship supplies.
· Manages building related needs, such as Bay Alarm account, building key assignments, required quarterly and annual building inspections.
Financial Support:
· Records income for all ministries and does a monthly check of all income to make sure each item has been properly classified.
· Keeps contribution records up to date for members and others and distributes statements quarterly/annually.
· Assists congregants with setting up and using online giving.
· Assists in identifying account classifications for recording expense payments.
