Wee Care Pediatrics is currently hiring for a Radiology Technologist (or Radiology Practical Technician) to work in their Layton clinic on an as-needed basis (PRN).
A variety of shifts will be available (days, evenings and weekends):
Monday - Friday 9am - 5 pm and 5pm - 10 pm
Saturday and Sunday 1 pm - 8pm
Job Description:
As a Radiology Technologist/Radiology Practical Technician you will be responsible to perform all approved x-ray procedures and complete necessary documentation in a very busy pediatric clinic. You will work with children of all ages and must possess a special set of patient-interaction skills. Day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Performs diagnostic medical x-rays and routes to provider/radiologist for review.
• Documents x-rays taken for each patient.
• Contact patients/parents with x-ray results.
• Performs and documents daily quality control and instrument cleaning and maintenance.
Job Qualifications:
• Must have a current Radiology Technologist License or Radiology Practical Technician license in the State of Utah.
• One year of pediatric experience strongly desired.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member within a very busy clinic.
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills required.
• Knowledge of universal precaution procedures in medical safety practices.
Salary : $24 - $34
