Responsibilities

• Provide attentive supervision and care for children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings, ensuring their safety at all times
• Implement age-appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional well-being
• Assist with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene practices in accordance with health and safety standards
• Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized caregiving as needed
• Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other caregivers to communicate children's progress and address individual needs
• Maintain a clean, organized environment that encourages learning and play while adhering to all safety regulations
• Apply first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or incidents involving children

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or classroom settings is highly preferred
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices
• Experience caring for infants, toddlers, or children with special needs or disabilities is advantageous
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Certification in first aid and CPR is desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
• Previous nannying or babysitting experience demonstrating responsibility and nurturing skills
• Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of children and adapt to varying developmental needs
