What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Machinist - Grinders, Lathes & Mills position at Wedin International Inc?
Setup and operation of manual machines. This position deals with the day-to-day operation running of manual machines in a repair type manufacturing facility. Person will be responsible for producing parts from our manufacturing prints, setting-up the machine and producing the actual parts. General maintenance of the machines are also part of this position such as coolants and oil levels, cleaning of chips and or grind swarf. The type of production is job shop or made-to-order environment, no long run orders. Ideal person should know how to use milling & lathe turning machines along with cylindrical grinding, surface grinding. Have a can do attitude and wants to contribute to a team of other skilled machinist with mulitple skillsets leading to work flow and through put.
Type of production is job shop or made to order environment, no long run orders most are quantities of 1-2 pieces.
