What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grab it & Go Grinders food prep 3rd shift position at Grab it and Go Grinders?
Job Summary
- Preparing all food products for the night crew before they get there.
- Making sure everything is done and ready so the night goes smoothly.
- Cleaning up your work space at the end of the night.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and bend over longer periods of time in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to lift heavier objects, ranging from 20-50lb's when/if needed.
Clothing Requirements/Dress Code
- No dangling jewelry that is easily removeable, wedding rings only
- Hair must be tied back at all times
- Hair nets or hats must be worn at all times
- Clothing must be clean and free of any hair or loose threads
Duties
- Slicing bread, cheese and meats
- Preparing trays of bread for the night crew to build
- Prepping any food(s) needed for orders that night.
- Cleaning up your work space at the end of the night
- Sweeping, moping, wash and sanitize equipment, taking trash out and keeping the cooler clean and organized.
Skills
- Time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Ability to take and follow directions
- Understanding your roll. Your roll is very important and sets the stage for the night crew and drivers. If you are behind, so is everyone else.
