Job Overview
We are hiring dependable, hardworking, and detail-oriented Porters to join our healthcare Environmental Services (EVS) team in Royersford, PA.
As a Porter, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff. You will be responsible for keeping hallways, lobbies, waiting areas, and other common spaces clean, sanitary, and well-maintained throughout your shift.
Available Shifts
Choose the shift that best fits your availability:
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM — Afternoon/Evening Shift
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM — Overnight Shift
Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of common areas throughout the facility.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean hallways, lobbies, waiting areas, stairwells, elevators, and other shared spaces.
- Clean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, including handrails, door handles, light switches, and shared furniture.
- Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Monitor common areas and promptly address spills, debris, and potential safety hazards.
- Restock paper towels, soap, trash liners, and other essential supplies in public restrooms and common areas.
- Keep cleaning carts, storage closets, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Follow infection control protocols, sanitation standards, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report maintenance issues, damaged equipment, and safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Assist the housekeeping and Environmental Services team with additional cleaning duties as needed.

Required Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a healthcare environment with elderly residents.
- Availability to work one of the listed shifts.
- Ability to reliably commute to Royersford, PA 19468.
- Ability to successfully complete a background check before employment.
