Job Overview
Are you hardworking, dependable, and interested in maintaining clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities? We are looking for motivated and detail-oriented Floor Technicians to join our healthcare Environmental Services (EVS) team in Royersford, PA.
As a Floor Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining floors throughout the facility using professional floor-care equipment and cleaning techniques. You will help ensure that floors remain clean, polished, safe, and presentable while supporting the overall cleanliness of the healthcare environment.
Previous experience is preferred but not required. We will help you learn how to operate floor-care equipment safely and follow established cleaning procedures, infection control standards, and workplace safety protocols.
Available Shifts
Choose the shift that best fits your availability:
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM — Day Shift
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM — Afternoon/Evening Shift
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM — Overnight Shift
Duties and Responsibilities
Floor Care and Maintenance
- Strip, wax, buff, polish, and clean floors using professional equipment.
- Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and burnishers safely.
- Inspect floors, address spills promptly, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
Waste and Linen Handling
- Collect and dispose of waste according to facility procedures.
- Collect and transport soiled linens safely.
- Follow infection control and sanitation protocols.
Equipment and Safety
- Clean, maintain, and store equipment properly.
- Report equipment issues and safety hazards to the supervisor.
- Follow safety procedures and assist housekeeping and porter teams as needed.
This is an on-site position requiring work at the designated facility.
