The Adult Education Program is seeking for a Part-Time ESOL Site Advisor III. Qualifications: A. Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Education or related field required; Masters Degree preferredB. Multilingual preferred/C.
3 5 years Adult Basic Education/Advising experience preferredD. Case management experience preferredE. Experience working with a diverse adult population (ages 16 ) with complex socio-economic needsF. Knowledgeable about post-secondary educational options, workforce development, career pathway development, and financial literacy or willingness to learnG.
Must communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writingH. Proficient in use of Google Suite with strong technological aptitudeThe Part-Time Evening ESOL Site Advisor will work collaboratively with teachers to support the development of student personal, post-secondary education, training, and/or employment goals, promote a culture of self-efficacy and persistence, and assist students to remove barriers to participation by referring to outside social service agencies and other resources. The Site Advisor will split their time between two sites: Bartlett High School and an off-site workplace ESOL class. Other responsibilities include assisting teachers with instructional activities.
