Receiving Associate

Webster Fulfillment is currently seeking: Receiving Associates who are responsible for unloading product from trucks and separating inventory by size and style on behalf of our e-Commerce clients, as well as counting and sorting items to ensure correct placement and shipment to customers nationwide. The Receiving department also includes overall inventory management, packing items, and stowing items throughout the facility. The associate may also be responsible for placing inventory back on the floor that has been through the return process.

About Webster Fulfillment: We are a third-party logistics (3PL) provider that supports e-Commerce retailers (online based stores) to meet their shipping demands. We are currently seeking full-time inventory associates who are responsible for stowing product throughout our facility and ensuring inventory is accounted for both physically and virtually.

A day in the life:

• Unload, process and sort through freight and merchandise arriving via mail carrier trucks and organizing them by vendor.
• Manage invoices and communicate to supervisors any discrepancies in count/sizes/colors.
• Maintain a clean work station, breaking down boxes as they are completed and cleaning any trash left behind continuously.
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to assist in loading or moving materials throughout facility.
• Be available to assist in other areas of the facility, including inventory, shipping, and packaging when needed.

Requirements:

• Must be able to consistently lift and move heavy boxes/freight throughout a normal shift. Ranging from 15-50 pounds.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
• Great accuracy and attention to detail.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Able to utilize an IPod/IPad or Laptop Computer.

Good to know:

• Pay is biweekly; every other Friday.
• Wear what you feel comfortable in, closed toe closed heel shoes are required.
• SHIFT: M-F 8am-5pm.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
