Job Summary/Basic Function
Shop Assistant will assist Technical Director in maintaining shop equipment,
inventory, and supplies; setting and maintaining safety procedures during
scenic construction and in the theaters during departmental productions;
building scenery for productions; and supervising and mentoring students in
scenic and prop construction as they work in Theater Scene Shop.

Required Qualifications
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three years construction shop experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- BS, BA, or BFA Degree (Theater Technology Focus Preferred).
- Experience working theater scene shops.

Physical Requirements of this position
