Job Summary/Basic Function
The Assistant Registrar for CTE Pathways supports students in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and Perkins-approved programs as they transition from partner schools to Weber State University. This position provides individualized guidance on transfer pathways and academic planning to support student success.
Duties of the position include the following:

- Support the development, implementation, and communication of CTE transfer pathways and articulation agreements with assigned partner schools (K-12 school districts, technical colleges, or two-year colleges).
- Support Perkins-identified populations and provide individualized pathways support for students in CTE/Perkins-approved programs.
- Guide students on course selection, program requirements, academic policies, and educational planning as they transition from transfer institutions to Weber State.
- Manage data collection, reporting, and assessment of CTE initiatives and student outcomes.
- Support Perkins Grant administration and compliance, including budgetary development and reconciliation, grant application management, proposal selection, stakeholder relations, and state and federal compliance.
- Coordinate Perkins outreach initiatives and special projects.
- Build and maintain partnerships with transfer school partners, CTE programs, employers, industry councils, and Weber State stakeholders.
- Oversee assigned systems maintenance and enhancements. Cross-train within the CTE area, serve on committees, and complete special projects as assigned.
This position typically operates within transfer/feeder institutions (K-12 school districts, technical colleges, or two-year colleges) and time will be split between assigned schools with regular travel required. Some evenings or weekends will be required.
Required Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience (one year of experience is equivalent to one year of education).
- Experience supporting students in educational setting or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Master’s Degree
- Experience with Career and Technical Education Programs
- Bilingual in Spanish
