What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stock Selector position at Weber Packaging Solutions Inc?
Responsibilities
- Operate various material handling equipment safely and efficiently, including forklift trucks, side loaders, turret trucks, and order picking trucks.
- Perform incoming material handling tasks by completing receiving inspections and putting away material in the warehouse.
- Pull Work in Progress (WIP) materials based on job pick lists and stage them for the WIP Material Handler.
- Retrieve finished goods inventory according to shipping pick lists and stage them appropriately for daily shipments.
- Ensure proper storage of finished goods in the warehouse after manufacturing operations.
- Process inventory and WIP transactions accurately and promptly.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness in the storage warehouse environment.
1st Shift Hours: Monday – Thursday 7am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am - 2:30pm
Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift experience required.
- Preferably familiar with Microsoft Office and UPS/FEDEX software.
- Proficiency in using PDT for scanning barcodes on products and uploading data to the computer system.
- Ability to work safely at various heights in the warehouse high bay area.
- Good computer skills.
- Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds approximately 25% of the time.
